The Opportunity:
At Arbor Hospice, located in Ann Arbor we are seeking volunteers to support our Grief Journey Program. This includes assisting in grief support phone calls, groups, administrative duties. Arbor Hospice provides anticipatory grief support and support to bereaved for 13 months following the loss of a loved one.
This may be one of the most rewarding things you ever do.
We require an application, interview, background check, fingerprinting and orientation. Ongoing support from our trained staff is provided as well as volunteer in-services and appreciation events.

Our experience - We have been serving our communities for more than 30 years. Among our 600 employees, we have more board-certified hospice physicians and nurses than other hospices.
Our locations - We have offices and worksites throughout the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. Wherever you are, we have a team of hospice specialists who can help you.
Our commitment - We care for all who need and seek our care, regardless of their age, diagnosis or ability to pay. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for our patients and families and for admissions.
Our size - We serve nearly 800 patients and their families every day; nearly one in four hospice patients in Michigan.
