ORGANIZATION: MOTHERS HELPING MOTHERS INC

Image_202301221324

Mothers Helping Mothers of Sarasota is committed to supporting families in need by fostering resiliency, self-sufficiency and family stability in our community.

Thanks to generous donors, grant funding, and a 100% volunteer-only staff, we have been able to serve over 4,000 families each year through our storefront, representing an average of 11,000 children annually.

Since 2020, we purchased our building and converted to solar, nearly eliminating our entire overhead. This allows us to redirect nearly 100% of every dollar donated back into our client programs.

MHM works directly with other local charities and agencies. By sharing services, our hope is to work together to lighten the burden for struggling families in our community.

We are currently in need of volunteers to help us with Public Relations to help support our rapid growth by leveraging various platforms, goal-setting, and targeting our audience. Some experience in this setting is appreciated.
