Kelly relies on local volunteers to run our pantry and clothes closet operations. We seek an individual who understands volunteerism and the processes required to recruit, orient, train and supervise. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our work!
Kelly Center for Hunger Relief helps El Pasoans in need address hunger and food insecurity. Kelly program areas include a food pantry, a clothes closet and the FreshStart program, which empowers households to address the root causes of food insecurity. Kelly is affiliated with Jardin de Milagros, a farm that donates fresh produce to our Pantry. We also facilitate research into poverty and food insecurity and advocate for policies to alleviate hunger.

The Kelly Center for Hunger Relief helps El Pasoans in need address hunger and food insecurity.
Description
Providing emergency food directly to individuals is an important part of our work, but it is by no means the only angle we’re using to address and ultimately reduce hunger and food insecurity in El Paso.
Kelly’s six primary programming areas are: a 5 day a week Food Pantry, the FreshStart Program focused on addressing the root causes of hunger, a free Clothes Closet, our partnership with Jardin de Milagros for farm fresh produce, as well as hunger and food insecurity related Research and Advocacy.
