ORGANIZATION: PRIDE AND JOY RESCUE

  • 8 people are interested

We need more volunteers we can count on. There will be no riding during this time. Trust is a must and with trust comes the extras. These animals are loved and cared for first and foremost. Feeding, barn clean up, help with wound care, cat feeding.

WE 100% understand the love to ride and TRUST us we would like more time ourselves for life. WE have to make sure before we allow someone to work or ride with our animals that we have the same understanding of their care and trust in all.

Directors have final say in everything, with trainer and operations managers input.

About PRIDE AND JOY RESCUE

Location:

7420 40TH AVE N, FARGO, ND 58102, US

Mission Statement

Teaching equine to love again.

Description

Pride and Joy Rescue is a full-circle equine rescue located in Fargo, North Dakota. We rescue horses from slaughter auctions, surrender by owner, and abuse/neglect situations. We work to restore each horse's health before starting rehab and training; then, if a horse is healthy enough, they will be put up for adoption to a qualified and loving home. Some horses at our ranch will stay for the rest of their lives. Some have special needs and cannot be adopted out, some are elderly and will call the ranch their last home; in any case, we treat each horse as the individual they are, and with tremendous love and respect.
