Volunteer Opportunity: Local Coordinator for Exchange Students in Utah!

Are you passionate about cultural exchange and making a difference in young lives? Greenheart Exchange is excited to announce an incredible opportunity to become a Local Coordinator, working with exchange students. Join our team and help create life-changing experiences for these extraordinary students!

As a Local Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting and guiding exchange students as they embark on their journey of cultural immersion in the USA. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with student placements within local host families.
Providing ongoing support and mentoring to students and host families.
Organizing cultural activities and community engagement opportunities.
Being available as a point of contact for any concerns or emergencies.

This is an incredible chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of these young individuals and create meaningful connections across cultures. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to expand your own global awareness and develop valuable skills in intercultural communication and leadership.

To qualify for this volunteer position, we are seeking individuals who are:

Compassionate, empathetic, and culturally sensitive.
Enthusiastic about fostering cultural exchange and understanding.
Effective communicators and skilled problem solvers.
Familiar with the community and its resources.

No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided. All you need is a passion for cultural exchange and a willingness to make a difference!

We are a designated sponsor of the U.S. Department of State for the following J-1 Exchange Visitor Programs:

  • Secondary School (High School Program)
  • Intern and Trainee
  • Summer Work Travel
