Review Resumes with Diverse CS Students

ORGANIZATION: CODEPATH ORG

  • 9 people are interested

CodePath Resume Review Week (Sept 9-12) helps underrepresented CS students improve their resumes.

Despite their accomplishments and skills, many of our diverse students risk being overlooked in the hiring process because they do not know how to correctly outline their projects, work experience and skills in a one-page, resume format. A short session to review a student’s resume makes them significantly more likely to be invited to interview.

Volunteers will spend 30 minutes with each student who signs up to have their resume reviewed during their time slot. Volunteers determine the number of hours they are available during the week.

CodePath will provide the Zoom links, calendar invites, and technical resume checklist to assist you during your volunteer session(s).
