Auburn Valley State Park June 10th
Come out and join the Park's Green Team, a special group of volunteers dedicated to sprucing up our gardens at the estate on Saturday, June 10th from 10 am to 12 pm. This will mainly be a discussion and garden tour, but feel free to bring your gardening gloves and any small gardening tools in case we want to do a little bit of light work. Extra gloves will be on hand if you can't bring your own. You may park across the street from the mansion and walk over and meet on the front porch. Looking forward to seeing you here!
Please contact Julie.Lawrence@delaware.gov for more information.

There are islands - Fenwick Island, Thompsons Island, Burtons Island, Beach Plum Island. There are Ponds - Trap Pond, Trussum Pond, Gordon's Pond, Fresh Pond, Killens Pond, Lums Pond. There are woods - Alapocas Woods, Tulip Tree Woods, Barnes Woods. There is a baldcypress swamp, dark and mysterious, and dunes that "walk". All available for visitors to use, appreciate, learn from and enjoy. So, too, are the glorious ocean and bay beaches - Delaware Seashore, Cape Henlopen, Holts Landing. Miles of hiking trails. Campgrounds and a water park. The history of Forts Delaware and DuPont, Bellevue Hall, the Judge Morris Estate. Rockford Tower, Brandywine Zoo, H. Fletcher Brown, a tiny urban patch of green, and Fox Point, which hugs the banks of the Delaware River and watches over shipping traffic. All of these are the property- and the legacy- of the people of the First State.
