As part of the LVC service year:

The program facilitator is someone who is passionate about the organization’s mission and empowering students. They will teach engaging Pre-K - 5th grade technology learning programs, ensuring programs meet objectives, implementing hands-on curriculum according to age group. They will implement social-emotional learning & learn through play engagement principles and work diligently to honor host site relationships to maximize student engagement.

1. Lead enrichment school day class and learning labs at multiple host sites/schools

2. Use creativity, engagement principles, and coordination skills to facilitate the robotics and other technology programs in a safe and fun environment

3. Primary resources utilized: LEGO Education products, Code.org, and Scratch Jr.

4. Build and develop partnerships with host site’s administrators and teachers

5. Cultivate meaningful, positive relationships with students through engaging programs

6. Commitment to continuous learning through self-paced training, professional development and ongoing evaluation & reflective practices

7. Manage program impact measurements, attendance, and pictures & videos
