Volunteers are the backbone of making wishes come true
Wishes are not possible without the support of the community! Are you passionate about organizing and creating memorable experiences? Do you love being part of a dynamic team that brings exciting events to life? If so, we have an amazing opportunity for you to get involved and make a difference!
We are currently seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join the auction committee for the signature fundraising event in Ventura County, CA. This is an incredible chance to contribute your skills, ideas, and energy to an event that will leave a lasting impact on our community.
As an auction committee volunteer, you will assist with securing donations from businesses on the Central Coast and throughout California to benefit our Rams Night for Wishes event.
We are looking for individuals who are not afraid to make an ask, are highly organized, overly communicative, and are willing to work hard now through October.
If you live in the Ventura County area, we will ask that you assist with compiling all of the auction packages and assisting with collecting items.

The mission of Make-A-Wish is together, we grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Our chapter serves Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Kern, Kings, Inyo and Tulare counties.
We grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.
Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors, and entire communities.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation was founded in 1980 after a little boy named Chris Greicius realized his heartfelt wish to become a police officer. Since its humble beginnings, the organization has blossomed into a worldwide phenomenon, reaching more than 110,000 children worldwide.
Although it has become one of the world's most well-known charities, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has maintained the grassroots fulfillment of its mission.
A network of more than 25,000 volunteers worldwide enables the Make-A-Wish Foundation to serve children with life-threatening medical conditions. Volunteers serve as wish granters, fundraisers, special events assistants, and in numerous other capacities.
