Serve as client’s ambassador
Analyze client assistance requests, complete required verifications, assess budget, and review previous
casework history
Evaluate whether needs presented can be met within NMCRS relief policies
Consult with a mentor to determine whether to assist or recommend other services/referrals
Present requests for exceptions to Headquarters Caseworkers, with concurrence of the Director or
designee
Complete required documentation using NMCRS software programs
Serve as client’s ambassador
Develop a budget with Service members, their eligible dependents or retired service members
Approve no interest loans in accordance with NMCRS guidelines
Recommendation appropriate resources to clients that best suite their needs
