Enriching Young Minds (EYM) is seeking two passionate and skilled grant writers to support our projects by writing compelling proposals and forging lasting relationships with funders. We are dedicated to making a lasting impact and need your talent to help us reach our goals.

As a volunteer grant writer for EYM, you will be responsible for researching potential grant opportunities, writing compelling grant proposals, collaborating with the team to gather necessary information, tracking and managing the grant application process, and building relationships with funders, donors, and partners.

Our mission is to educate and encourage young black girls 6 to 16 years old to own their own businesses while fostering their self-esteem and self-acceptance through programs, mentorship, resources, and business fairs.

Description

Welcome to Enriching Young Minds! We’re a small 501c3 organization, established in 2019, with a big mission: which is dedicated to empowering young Black girls in underserved communities and unleashing their full potential to become successful entrepreneurs. We believe that with the right guidance, support, and resources, young Black girls can unlock their own unique greatness.

Our goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where young Black girls can develop their skills, self-esteem, and confidence to follow their dreams. We have no doubt that when girls have access to the right opportunities, they can make a positive impact in their own lives and in the lives of those around them.

Now that things are somewhat getting back to normal, We are moving forward and looking for experienced volunteers in different areas to support and help us achieve our goals. We are proud to be a part of the global movement to improve the lives of young Black girls. At Enriching Young Minds, we’re committed to helping them to pursue their dreams and become successful entrepreneurs.
