Project Purple is hosting its second Over the Edge event in Hartford, CT. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated volunteers to help this event run smoothly. There are a few different positions to choose from, please read the descriptions below:
We are looking to recruit 10-12 Rope Volunteers to assist Over the Edge's technical team on Media/VIP day (15th) and Event day (16th). Although we prefer individuals who have experience working with rope, such as climbers, cavers, firefighters, and SWAT, becoming a rope volunteer is open to anyone with an enthusiastic and safety-conscious mindset. 2. Attend a 3-hour training session day before event on the 15th (if first time as Ropes Volunteer)
3. Volunteer all day on the 26th
4. Rope volunteers will get to rappel the building as part of their training; time/weather permitting.
