This FREE Pop-Up RAM clinic is happening September 21-22 at the Patuxent High School in Lusby, MD. To make this event successful, we are seeking volunteers for various positions.
Clinic Breakdown - We are seeking approx. 30 people to help breakdown the clinic Sunday 11-4p. Staff will help breakdown furniture, pack trucks, stack chairs and clean up trash. All staff must be 18+ (14+ with guardianship). Lunch is provided.
Parking Lot Staff - We need at least 6 volunteers in the parking lot on two shifts: Overnight (11:30pm - 8am) and Daytime (7:30am - 4pm), to greet patients as they arrive, assist the directing patients onto parking spots and explaining pre-registration process. All staff must be 18+. Overnight staff must have a vehicle to sit in through the night to protect from elements.
Food Servers - We are seeking approx. 6 people/shift to help with food service throughout the weekend. Volunteers are served 2-3 meals a day, and we need staff to help with set up, serve, breakdown, clean up and prep for next meal. Food support staff are needed on two shifts Saturday (5am-12p) and (11am-6pm) and Sunday 5am-1pm). (14+ with guardianship)
Interpreters - Assist with interpretation needs. Must be 18+. Able to read, comprehend and speak English and second language proficiently.
Dental Professions - We are seeking Dentist and Hygienist to work Saturday - Sunday 6a -6p, to perform x-rays, exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and emergency root canals. Dental Students may volunteer under the oversight of their professor.
Women Health - We are seeking women health professionals to work Saturday and Sunday 6a-6p, to perform pap smears, breast exams, etc. Medical Students may volunteer under the oversight of their professor.
Medical Professionals - We are seeking ENT doctors, Chiropractors, Therapist, etc. to perform heath screens and services to patients Saturday - Sunday 6a-6p. Medical Students may volunteer under the oversight of their professor.
Vision Professionals - We are seeking Optometrists, Ophthalmologists, and Vision techs to perform vision tests and screens and prescribe corrective lenses as needed Saturday - Sunday 6a-6p. Vision Students may volunteer under the oversight of their professor.
Great opportunity for students needing volunteer hours and those wanting to do something positive in the community. Food, water, and supplies will be provided to all volunteers throughout the event.

DentMed, Inc. is now partnering with other non-profit organizations to bring free pop-up clinics to cities throughout the United States. This mobile model allows us to provide services to more people for free. Our hosted pop-up clinics provide free Dental, Medical and Vision service to those in need. There is no insurance, income or ID verification required.
DentMed, Inc. senior leadership, Board of Trustees, Healthcare providers, and supporting staff know that healthy patients come from healthy communities, and finding ways to deliver quality care to the everyone who needs care is a big part of who we are.
