We are seeking a dedicated and patient volunteer to serve as an online citizenship test tutor for our organization. As a tutor, you will help prepare individuals for the citizenship test and support them in achieving their goal of becoming U.S. citizens.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct online tutoring sessions for individuals preparing for the citizenship test
- Assess the individual's strengths and weaknesses and develop a personalized study plan
- Provide guidance and support in preparing for the citizenship interview and exam
- Review practice test questions and provide feedback on answers
Requirements:
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 1 hour per week
- Proficiency in English and knowledge of U.S. history and government
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Access to reliable internet connection and video conferencing software
