The Water Lantern Festival is a family-friendly community event that focuses on peace, love, and unity.
People from all walks of life come to enjoy games, local vendors, music, and a lantern launch at sunset.
Each lantern is uniquely decorated to celebrate, remember loved ones, and set goals.

Jobs include putting together lantern kits, checking participants in and giving them their lantern kits, and helping maintain the beauty of the venue. During the dinner that will be provided, you will have
the opportunity to each launch one of your own lanterns.

Our group will be working together to create unity, strengthen communication, and make memories
together. Positive group culture boosts morale, break down walls, and brings people together. All while raising funds for our youth programs.

We are raising funds to begin our Safe Communities Project.
Our Safe Communities Project is an initiative that aims to renovate the abandoned commercial property at 1912 Hardy St., Houston, TX 77026; transforming it into a beautiful community-led resource and social engagement community house. This project involves the renovation of the existing building, adhering to state standards, and proper coding.
