Save the Chimps operates one of the largest chimpanzee sanctuaries in the world. Located on 150 acres in Fort Pierce, FL, the sanctuary provides lifetime care and enrichment for chimpanzees rescued from research laboratories, the pet trade, and entertainment industry.
Summer is quickly approaching and we are looking for volunteers to help us with the upkeep of our 150 acre property. Tasks will including mowing, line trimming, picking up palm fronds, etc.
Experience operating a zero turn lawn mower is preferred, but not required. Training and equipment will be provided.
