At Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue, events are crucial to our success. Fundraising, awareness, and adoption events are required for us to connect with the community, find fosters and adopters for our dogs, and raise the necessary funds to save lives.
We're looking for volunteers interested in Events and engaged in their community, that are committed to our mission. This person would help us find stores, restaurants, and large community events for us to partner with or host an event at and help execute the event.
This volunteer won't do things alone - you'll work directly with our staff to help coordinate and plan, and attendance onsite is not required! Our staff will also be working in the background to find other events and promotional opportunities.

Mission Statement
Laila's Legacy missions is to ensure every homeless dog - including those with behavioral or physical challenges - that comes through our doors has a chance at a better life while educating the public on breed bias, individualistic training, and the importance of spay-neuter to lower the impact of returned and abandoned animals in shelters.
Description
Laila's Legacy is a fully foster-based, volunteer run organization. This means we don't have a shelter to house our dogs, and rely on the community's support to foster our dogs, help us run volunteer events or fundraise. We're the first of our kind in the DMV region and only one of a few in the entire nation and we can't do this without the support of our community and the backing of dog lovers everywhere.
