The Chief of Operations in TAPC has the responsibility of overseeing coordinators and managers, including finance and accounting. This can involve working closely with these individuals to ensure that the organization's day-to-day operations, budgets, and financial reporting are functioning efficiently and effectively. In addition, the COO may be responsible for supervising these individuals to ensure that they are meeting their goals and objectives. They will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure that the organization is operating effectively and efficiently. They will be responsible for ensuring that the organization is complying with all relevant regulations and policies, such as tax laws, employment laws, and non-profit regulations.Overall, the COO plays a crucial role in the success of the non-profit organization and must possess strong organizational, managerial, and leadership skills.

Take a Pain Check Foundation is a Ontario registered, international youth-led community and non-profit organization founded in self-advocacy to empower youth with rheumatic diseases. They host bi-weekly podcasts, run ambassador programs for health professionals and youth, pilot rheumatic-related events, feature stories on their blog platform and lead monthly Joint Chat Rheum hangouts.
