Retail Sales Clerk in the Barracks Gift Shop. Work with another individual to ring up sales, keep sales floor neat and well stocked, assist in pricing new merchandise as needed, close out register at the end of the day. Exciting opportunity to help the Sonoma/Petaluma Parks nonprofit raise funds for the state historic parks in Sonoma and Petaluma. The nonprofit funds various events put on for the public. In the Barracks Gift Shop meet visitors from all over the world as they visit the state historic parks.

To further the preservation and interpretive and educational functions of the Sonoma and Petaluma Adobe State Historic Parks. The Mission, Barracks, Toscano Hotel, Vallejo Home and Petaluma Adobe are located in those parks.
Our nonprofit was formed in 1982 as a cooperating association of the California State Park Association. We raise funds to sponsor lectures and concerts at the parks, participate in community events such as the July 4th Parade in Sonoma, underwrite many community events at each of the park venues, fund docent training and enrichment, and fund park staff attendance at seminars and workshops. We have initiated a plan and continue to raise funds for the phased repair of walls at the Petaluma Adobe. We raise funds through various ways, from retail sales at the gift shop in the Barracks, from memberships in our organization, from lecture fees and donations or special fundraisers.
