Do you have 1 - 2 hours a week and enjoy talking on the phone.
Did you know calling patients at home or calling their family/caregivers are part of volunteering.

Volunteers are needed to make weekly calls to patient/caregivers to see how they are doing and if they need supplies ordered. These calls are so important - they help our team with ordering new supplies or restocking the patients supplies.

Volunteers will be remote or can be in the care center making the phone calls to patients or caregiver.

We have a need for several volunteers to work on this ongoing volunteer opportunities.

Hospice Philosophy
Hospice provides palliative support and care for persons in the last phases of incurable disease so that they may live as fully and as comfortable as possible. Hospice recognizes dying as part of the normal process of living and focuses on maintaining the quality of remaining life. Hospice affirms life and neither hastens nor postpones death. Hospice exists in the hope and belief that through appropriate care, and the promotion of a caring community sensitive to their needs, patients and their families may be free to attain a degree of mental, social, physical, and spiritual preparation for death that is satisfactory to them.
