The Brooklyn Hospital Center participates in the Reach Out and Read Program. We are looking for volunteers to dedicate some time during the day to reading to and with children who come to our Children's Health Clinic.

We are looking for volunteers who have worked with and love children and believe in the power of reading in children's lives. Volunteers must feel comfortable engaging children and reading out loud.

Ability to engage children

Days and Hours: must be able to commit to 1 day a week for two to three hours. The clinic is open Monday to Friday. The best reading times are 10:30a to 3pm.
