Who We Are
After-School All-Stars (ASAS) is one of the leading national after-school program providers in the US. Our comprehensive school-based programs combine academics, enrichment, and health and fitness activities to help build the knowledge and skills children need to succeed in school and life. Founded by Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1992, ASAS provides essential enrichment programs to more than 84,000 students at 709 sites across 60 cities. Our chapter currently serves 500 students at 12 sites in Philadelphia and Camden.
A Unique Opportunity
Program staff volunteers will provide support to help facilitate our after-school enrichment programs. Volunteers serve as assistants to ASAS program staff by helping with a range of tasks such as checking in students, helping with homework, passing out supplies for activities, and other tasks as needed.
This opportunity is ideal for volunteers who want to participate in activities alongside students and help staff provide academic support and other project-based learning experiences.
We have volunteer opportunities in Philadelphia and Camden. After-school hours are usually between 3 - 6pm.
