Gammelgarden Museum of Scandia currently is recruiting members for our graphic design team!
As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to offer your expertise to small history museum focused on Swedish immigration and early-settlers in Minnesota from 1850-1880.
You also will be able to build your portfolio with your creations!
Responsibilities
- Creating flyers, postcards, and/or brochures for major events, workshops, classes, and youth camps
- Help design informational PowerPoints that will be presented to incoming volunteers
- Create designs that will be featured across all of the organization’s social media accounts
- Dedicating time to helping the organization with design creation

Mission Statement
Established in 1972 by Elim Lutheran Church to honor the Swedish immigrants who founded the community, Gammelgården Museum of Scandia today celebrates the story of all immigrants to their new land.
Description
Housed in six buildings on the historic gammelgården or old farm where the community of Scandia was first established, Gammelgården encourages visitors to explore their own journey. Through historical, educational, and cultural activities, Gammelgården invites visitors to step back in time and experience the stories of the immigrants as well as to discover new, contemporary bridges.
