IncluCity is our 4-day residential camp for high school students bring together delegates across varying schools and school districts. It is currently open to students across Nebraska, South Dakota, and western Iowa. At IncluCity students examine their own biases and prejudices; discover ways to dismantle stereotypes; build lasting cross-cultural relationships; learn ways to peacefully resolve conflict; and become allies for one another.

The intention behind this program is to celebrate the differences in identity that contribute to the diversity all around us. In addition, this program aims to spark discussion around creating spaces where all identities can be included, supported, and affirmed. IncluCity is a place where people can come together in community regardless of background with intention of building cross-cultural bonds and foster a sense of leadership in creating inclusive communities.

Mission Statement

We confront prejudice, bigotry and discrimination.

Description

We are a 501c3 nonprofit human relations organization that has been around since 1938, confronting prejudice, bigotry and discrimination through educational programs that raise awareness, foster leadership and encourage advocacy for a just and inclusive society. We enact our mission through promoting education, fostering leadership and advocacy. We serve communities, corporations and youth through our ACTion Services and Table Talk programming. Our longest running program is our 4 day residential youth leadership camp called IncluCity.
The work is plenty and we cannot do it alone. We believe that to advance the mission of Inclusive Communities, it is best accomplished when partnering with folks just like yourself.
