We're looking for several volunteers to provide great customer service to people who are shopping for used household items, furniture, and much more. You will greet and assist customers, cashier, and refer customers with questions to the store manager. Retail or thrift experience would be a great help, but is not necessary. People are needed 10 to 6 M-F. You can work out your shift times and days with the store manager.

2 Shifts

  • 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM EST
    Shift times are negotiable (the software insisted on start & end times). Work is needed from 10-6 Mon-Fri
  • 02:00 PM to 06:00 PM EST

Rochester Greenovation helps people in Rochester, NY, keep things out of the landfill while partnering with other local non-profits. We help people in need and support local artists. Our main project is running a second-hand store.

Description

Rochester Greenovation started with an idea to help keep useful objects out of the landfill. Our Second Hand Store has become the hub of our mission where we sell anything usable. We are entirely run by volunteers and depend on donations. We partner with other local non-profits to help fill gaps in service to the people in the Rochester area. We also partner with local artists, who paint murals on the store's walls.
