Mission Statement

Adventist Community Services (ACS) is an outreach ministry of the North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. NAD ACS is the umbrella organization under which our local ACS center operates. Whittier ACS ministry seeks to meet the physical and spiritual needs of our local community. Our ACS center operates a food pantry in partnership with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. We offer food, clothes, basic supplies, Bible study materials, and support groups to individuals and families in need. These services are provided year-round to all individuals, regardless of race or religious affiliation.

Description

Our mission has always been to ensure that no community member goes with food, clothing, shelter of pertinent resources for survival. Since the grand opening of the ACS Food Pantry, we have served between 80-100 families. Our goal is to triple that number and expand our services to include free mental health, education, and healthcare services.
