Committee member's responsibilities may include:
- Attending regular committee meetings (meetings are virtual)
- Soliciting sponsorships and auction donations
- Assisting with marketing the event to local business, corporations and healthcare providers
- Sharing the mission of the Arthritis Foundation
- Help day of the event (November 6, 2024)
The ideal people would be willing to commit several hours each month between now and the event which will be held in November.
The Arthritis Foundation of Maryland’s Commitment to a Cure Gala raises awareness about the prevalence and seriousness of arthritis while raising critical funds to support our mission of conquering arthritis. Funds raised will be invested in research and advocacy efforts as well as education programs and support for the nearly 60 million Americans - adults and children - living with arthritis. The Gala brings together Maryland’s medical and business stakeholders, as well as patients and families, for an evening of fine dining, a brief awards program and auction all in the name of finding a cure for arthritis.
