This is an amazing opportunity to positively impact the lives of newly arrived refugee families. The Case Management Intern will work closely with refugee program staff to provide direct assistance services to our refugee clients, as well as assist with service documentation and data entry. Program activities include providing outreach to newly arrived refugees and secondary migrants, coordination of services through home visits and appointments with local service providers, and assistance finding employment, arranging transportation and enrolling in English as a second language classes to aid overall adjustment of employment and self-sufficiency goals.

Description
Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte provides services encompassing assistance to individuals and families experiencing a need for:
- Foster care, adoption and pregnancy services
- Individual, marriage and family counseling
- Distribution of donated services to the needy
- Food Pantry
- Acute emergency services
- Enrichment services
- Burial Support
Catholic Charities (CCDOC) Refugee Resettlement program is an affiliate of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), one of the national voluntary agencies participating in the federal government's refugee resettlement program. For the past 30 years, the CCDOC Refugee Resettlement program has embraced the mission of providing quality services and a caring support system that will empower our refugee clients to become self-sufficient, self-reliant, and productive members of society. On average, CCDOC Refugee Resettlement program resettles and supports between 350 and 400 refugees per year. All of our services are non-sectarian and do not promote any religious belief or affiliation.
