Quick Overview: Senior Care Home Entertainment is seeking volunteers for Telephone Outreach to senior care and nursing facilities.

Mission: The mission of Senior Care Home Entertainment is to alleviate depression and loneliness among the residents of senior care and nursing homes by providing premium music and entertainment performances at no cost to the care homes through our variety-style televsion series. The series, Entertaining Older Folks, is a one-hour program with music, comedy, magic, poetry, dance and so much more! It streams on YouTube on the Senior Care Home Entertainment Channel. We have 20 episodes available 24/7 for free.

Impact: To create awareness for Entertaining Older Folks, we launched a volunteer telephone outreach initiative to contact senior care and nursing homes and encourage the staff and administration to inform their residents of the series.

Volunteer Roles & Responsiblities: Get the word out to senior care and nursing home staffs and administrators by calling to let them know about our cost-free and commercial-free television series so they can share with their residents. This would require no more than one hour a week calling senior care and nursing homes to make the staff and administration aware of our series. Brief training session on our database before work begins.

Requirements: Phone and computer with internet access
