We need volunteers to help us deliver our meals to Compassion Delivered individuals and families each Friday between 10:30 am and 2 pm.
Please arrive at the church between 9:45 am and 10:15 am if possible. Once you are in the kitchen, we will help you get set up with your delivery bags, meals, and route information.
We are more than a delivered meal; we build connections with the families and individuals we serve. Because of their diagnoses, you may be the only non-medical person they talk to all week. We encourage our volunteers to take a few minutes if the individual is willing to have a conversation and enjoy the opportunity to know one another.
Our volunteers are family to us, we not only have an opportunity to show compassion to those we are serving, but we have fun doing so. Our delivery team enjoys connecting with one another. It's a great opportunity for social interaction as well.
Once you’ve completed the delivery, please communicate with our Outreach Coordinator about your hours and how your deliveries went. Our clients know volunteers will deliver meals this week and are excited to meet you.
Thank you for your consideration to volunteer with Compassion Delivered-we are grateful for you!
