This opportunity is ideal for small groups looking to give time and resources to the shelter. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN GROUP OF 3-5 POEPLE.
Come feed the homeless! Grab a small team of co-workers, a faith group, family or friends and provide a meal at the Arlington Life Shelter.
Each night, the Arlington Life Shelter provides a place to stay and the basic needs for 120 residents. We provide a hot meal and warm bed to those in our community in need. Volunteer food teams generously plan out the meal, donate the food, prepare and serve it each night to our clients.
We need Volunteer Food Teams to provide a meal. Great opportunity for groups of 3-5; individuals must be at least 15 years old to participate. All food is purchased by the team and brought to the shelter where your team cooks and serves a buffet style meal. Opportunities to do this are monthly, bi-monthly and on a one-time basis. Not sure what to prepare? Our kitchen staff is happy to provide guidance and direction as needed.
If your group is interested in serving, please reach out to the Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@arlingtonlifeshelter.org for a list of available dates.
