BWS

Chosen Generations Community Center, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Detroit, Michigan. We are planning our 15th Annual Santa Toy giveaway for at-risk youth in Michigan.

Our Santa toy giveaway is our biggest annual community event involving businesses and volunteers nationwide, and families statewide.

Our endeavor to bring awareness to childhood hunger and the hardships of low income families, has been featured on local news telecasts, on the web, and in print. Some of our biggest supporters have been Macy's, Meijer, and Walmart.

Some of our volunteer needs include:

  • Decorating our building including hallways, and our dining hall festively
  • Hanging ornaments and decorating Christmas trees
  • Blowing up balloons (with a machine)
  • Moving tables and
  • Hanging garland
  • Setting up the toys for parents to easily find what they need for their children

We will be collecting monetary as well as in-kind donations through the 21st of December. Please call (313)920-7085 if you would like to make a donation.
