Assists staff by greeting patients and directing them where to go on the 3rd Floor of the Gateway Medical Office Building located on the AdventHealth Shawnee Mission Campus. There is a high volume of patient traffic. Third floor has several primary care practices and a lab. There are about 25 providers split into two teams. They also have the only lab in that building, so specialty patients are entering here for lab as well. There is a very high volume of people coming into this space.

The volunteer space has a desk as the first line of sight as you exit the elevator. Need a volunteer there to direct patients to the left or right side of the clinic for check-in. Looking for volunteers with great customer service skills to greet people with a warm smile and direct them to the right place. Volunteers can sit at the desk or stand if they prefer to be up and moving around. Volunteers will help us improve the experience for the many patients who visit there.
