Join Rally Club Seattle, a collaborative, after-school group mentorship community with some amazing, thoughtful, creative, resilient, and hilarious teens and tweens!
Did you know that the CDC reported 42% of teens in the US feel persistently sad or hopeless, and 57% of females feel persistently sad or hopeless, and 42% of all teens feel this way?
Connectedness not only has a powerful protective effect on mental health, but also improves other youth outcomes such confidence, concern for others, and academic competence. Caring mentors like you create a welcoming, fun, and inclusive community that teens and tween want to be a part of! Time is spent in larger group activities and well as in small groups and in giving individualized attention. Activities are tailored to youth interest, and may include arts and crafts, PE type games (relays, dodgeball), pickleball, ping pong, board games, cooking, and more. Mentors may also serve as tutors, helping with homework as needed.
We take a collaborative approach to mentorship, with several mentors in place each week. Our very low (2:1 to 3:1) child: adult ratios are designed to allow time for volunteers to get to know youth well and to allow flexibility in volunteers’ schedule. We aim for about 3 to 4 mentors each day and about 8 to 12 youth for each "club" location.

Mission Statement
Our mission at Rally Club Seattle is to empower youth to reach their greatest potential.
Description
Rally Club Seattle is a group mentorship program for underserved tweens and teens that began programming in 2022. Our goal is to create a consistent community of support beginning in late elementary, that continues through high school.
We believe in community, relationships, and their profound, positive impact on young people. Feeling connected not only supports mental health, but also improves all other positive outcomes for youth, including academics, confidence and concern for others. Having caring people in your life is empowering!
There are currently opportunities both afterschool and at lunch-time for volunteers to work with youth from late elementary to high school age at several locations in the northwest area of Seattle.
During programming youth and adults participate in shared activities that focus on building community, broadening horizons, and addressing needs and interests of each cohort. The collaborative model allows for flexibility in scheduling, as well as support and community for volunteers. It’s fun!
Our main resource at Rally Club are volunteer mentors. You don't have to be extraordinary to make an extraordinary difference to some amazing kids.
