Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: The Salvation Army Alameda County

  • 18 people are interested

Hello! The Salvation Army in Hayward, ca is looking for Tutors / Cooks for our Afterschool school program for kids. We need about one or two volunteers who can teach English as a second language (Spanish) as a priority to kids and speak / translate Spanish to kids. If you have Math, reading, writing, or computer skills that is a plus for the program. We need someone who can cook / make snacks for the kids. There are two different options being offered unless you can do both is a plus.
If you are volunteering to help with Tutoring then bilingual, Spanish speaking is a must. If you would like to volunteer but are unable to speak Spanish then we would at least like to be able to have volunteers to have cooking experience so they can help us provide wholesome snacks for the kids.
