Food Recovery Rider:
Ages 16+. Assist in food recovery loading/unloading at multiple Kwik Trip stores, Aldi Fitchburg, Starbucks Verona HS, Pick n' Save Maple Grove, and Costco Verona. Must be able to lift up to 35lbs. Coordinate with driver to agree on meeting at BPNN or the first store. Deliver recovered food to BPNN, process, and properly store it.
Wear close-toed shoes and avoid loose clothing. If under 18, you must bring a Release of Liability form signed by a parent or legal guardian with you (find the form on our website https://www.bpnn.org/volunteer.html).

Description
Badger Prairie Needs Network (BPNN) operates one of the busiest food pantries in Dane County, Wisconsin. Food insecurity is real for too many in our community. Odds are, you may know of someone who needs help from organizations like BPNN, especially in light of high unemployment, low wages or bridging an unexpected expense.
Our values are unwavering. If you are hungry, we will help. Our service area includes all of Dane County and guests may visit BPNN twice monthly.
We are 100% volunteer - all funds raised go toward our mission and keeping the lights on. Learn more about us in our annual report.
