The Cyber Serve Community non-profit organization is seeking an experienced, dynamic and visionary Executive Director to lead our mission of providing low-income communities and underprivileged communities with access to critical cybersecurity education, training, and resources. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity and the digital divide, and will be passionate about empowering individuals and organizations in these communities with the knowledge and tools to protect themselves from online threats and secure their online presence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the organization to achieve its mission, goals and objectives.
  2. Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to advance the organization’s mission and goals.
  3. Develop and manage a budget to support the organization's programs, services and initiatives.
  4. Develop and maintain partnerships with organizations and individuals in underprivileged communities to provide them with the support and resources they need to stay safe and secure online.
  5. Work with the Board of Directors to ensure that the organization’s policies, programs and services are consistent with its mission, values, and goals.
  6. Ensure the effective and efficient operation of the organization, including fundraising, marketing and communications, and volunteer management.
  7. Represent the organization to the public, stakeholders, funders and other organizations.
  8. Provide leadership, support, guidance and direction to the staff and volunteers.
  9. Stay informed of developments in cybersecurity and digital technology, and ensure that the organization is providing the most effective and relevant programs and services.

Requirements:

  1. Strong understanding of cybersecurity and the digital divide, and the ability to communicate this effectively to a variety of audiences.
  2. Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, funders and community partners.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills.
  4. Strong organizational, project management and leadership skills.
  5. A passion for empowering individuals and organizations in underprivileged communities with the knowledge and tools to protect themselves from online threats and secure their online presence.

Our team of volunteers and cybersecurity experts work to provide these communities with comprehensive training and resources to help them navigate the complex world of cybersecurity, and to develop the skills necessary to protect themselves and their data.
