ORGANIZATION: Pretty In Pink Foundation

The Program Support Volunteer is responsible for assisting the Director of Patient Services in carrying out Pretty In Pink Foundations' mission. Duties may include:

Assisting in application screening and processing
Providing support in paying bills to medical providers
Preparing packets to be sent for review by the Foundation's medical advisory committee
Filing, database entry, and mailings as assigned


Required skills and abilities:
This role is intended to be ongoing and requires in-office work at our Raleigh office
Computer proficiency
Ability to work independently
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
This is an unpaid, volunteer position

To provide uninsured and under-insured breast cancer patients in North Carolina with financial assistance for quality, life-saving medical treatment.

Description

Pretty In Pink Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in North Carolina. When breast cancer is present and insurance is not Pretty In Pink Foundation is here to help. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify to pay for surgery, chemotherapy administration, radiation therapy, office co-pays, COBRA, and insurance premiums.
Beyond the Ribbon services include prosthetic units, pre and post surgery bras, wigs, comfort bags, community resource connections and more.
