Volunteers are the heart and hands of our organization. Delivery drivers not only bring meals to the seniors we serve, but they also deliver smiles and an important social connection. The check-in that happens during a senior’s meal delivery lets us know that clients are healthy and safe. Be apart of something rewarding.
Meals on Wheels delivers meals to homebound seniors on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 10:00 AM to about 12:00 Noon. The routes are all across Placer county and take about two hours.
We need regular shift drivers that commit to a route each week, along with substitute drivers. Regular drivers never need to miss out on vacations or appointments. We'll fill your route with a substitute driver.
