Description: We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to manage and support our Outreach Interns. This role is essential for ensuring that our interns are effectively onboarded, supported, and offboarded while contributing to our mission. As an Outreach Intern Manager, you will oversee intern applications, conduct onboarding meetings, and manage regular check-ins and surveys to monitor progress.
Duties:
- Review Applications: Assess and decide on Outreach Intern applications.
- Intern Setup: Complete setup tasks for newly hired Outreach Interns.
- Onboarding: Conduct onboarding meetings to integrate new interns.
- Surveys and Check-ins: Ensure interns complete required surveys and check-ins at specified intervals (end of 1st week, 1st month, 2nd month, 3rd month, 6th month, 9th month, and 12th month).
- Offboarding: Handle the offboarding process when interns complete their term.
- Support: Provide ongoing support and assistance to Outreach Interns as needed.
Requirements:
- Managerial experience.
- Ability to volunteer at least 5 hours each week for a minimum of 6 months.
- Experience in managing volunteers or teams is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with clear instructions.
Time Commitment:
Approximately 5 hours per week, with flexibility based on your schedule.
