Could you donate a few hours a week to visit with a hospice patient who resides in Johnson County? Share memories, go through photo albums, play cards, read to them, or just sit quietly in the home while they rest. Shifts are usually once weekly for a few hours but we're flexible. Your schedule and travel area are up to you. No direct patient care is required - just a caring heart.
Do you enjoy visiting with others?
Do you have a calm, friendly demeanor?
Do you have compassion for others?
If so, you would be a perfect fit!

Mission Statement
Olathe Health is focused on improving the health of all individuals in the communities we serve by providing compassionate, quality healthcare in an environment of trust and collaboration.
Description
Olathe Health Ambassadors, what we like to call our volunteers, work in both clinical and non-clinical areas. Their talents are used at information desks, reception areas, patient registration, surgery family room, business offices, hospice care, and the Gift Shops - just to name a few. They also help with special projects such as Community Blood Drives and fundraising events.
At Olathe Health, our Ambassadors and staff work together to make each patient's stay as comfortable as possible.
