QUICK OVERVIEW
Looking for a great place to volunteer? Union Station Homeless Services is looking for reliable and dedicated volunteers to support our kitchen team with preparing breakfast for our residents. This volunteer shift is an integral part of maintaining an efficient and successful kitchen and meal program, so please consider volunteering to help!
MISSION
Union Station Homeless Services is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, that is committed to helping individuals and families rebuild their lives and discover permanent solutions to ending homelessness.
VOLUNTEER ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESAs a volunteer, you would be responsible for assisting our kitchen team with preparing, cooking, serving meals, and cleaning up.
REQUIREMENTS
All volunteers must provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19
Age Requirement - volunteers must be at least 13 years old to volunteer with a chaperone and 16 years old to volunteer without one
Volunteers must attend our online volunteer orientation prior to volunteering in our kitchen. Our brief orientation is held through Zoom. To schedule your orientation, visit our website - https://unionstationhs.org/help/volunteer/
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
These kitchen service shifts take place at our Family Center Monday through Friday from 6:00 am - 8:00 am.
