Are you a Veteran who is looking to volunteer and help fellow Veterans? The Veteran to Veteran Volunteer will provide spiritual and emotional care to terminally ill Veteran patients and their families. Quite often, Veteran patients will open up more to a Veteran Volunteer than to their own families. He/she will provide recognition for service and participate in Veteran centric events as necessary. This person can work with people of various religious faiths and cultures.

Description
Sacred Journey Hospice provides care to patients who have a terminal illness and their families. We visit patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, our 24/7 inpatient unit or wherever else they may be to provide care on a huge spectrum. We provide for medical, therapuetic (physical, speech, emotional, etc), equipment, medication, supplies, spiritual, social, daily living, veteran and many other needs. Volunteers are a HUGE part of our patient care goals.
