Hello!
We are looking for patient Volunteering at the patient's residence. Pt is male, catholic, and would very much appreciate your help.
Volunteering includes:
- Provide patient socialization
- Light Caregiver Respite
Opportunity Offers:

We are looking for individuals:
- That feel comfortable sitting/socializing with terminally ill patients
- Who are caring and empathetic
- Can work with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
- Are bilingual (Spanish/English) or English speaking

- Covid-19 Vaccination Card
- Background Check (provided by our agency)
- Application (provided)
- 2 hour Orientation
- Immunization Records
- TB Test / Physical (within past 12 months)
- Car insurance
- Social Security Card
- Drivers License

Description
- Manages the patient’s pain and symptoms;
- Assists the patient with the emotional and psychosocial and spiritual aspects of dying;
- Meal prep
- Delivers special services like speech and music therapy when needed;
- Makes short-term inpatient care available when pain or symptoms become too difficult to manage at home, or the caregiver needs respite time; and
- Provides bereavement care and counseling to surviving family and friends.
