Mission Statement

The mission of Mental Health and Recovery Counseling Education and Training (MHRCET) is to provide access to quality mental health and recovery services in a comprehensive and culturally respectful manner to individuals and families. MHRCET is dedicated to improving the quality of every individual by focusing on the primary goals and objectives:

• Improving population health
• Enhancing mental health awareness
• Address and reduce mental health stigma
• Improving the patient experience

Volunteer Description

We are seeking individuals who are first and foremost mission driven, kind, helpful, compassionate, and genuinely care about the well-being of others. If this description fits your personality, we need people like you to join our team.

If you are interested in giving back to the community, please take a moment to review support positions below and commit to a volunteer position on your own schedule in one or more areas:

• Social Media (posters, content creators, etc.)
• Curriculum Developer/Content Writer
• Communications (marketing, press release, newsletter)
• Donor Relations Assistance/Fundraiser
• Video Director
• Public Speaker/Health Advocate(webinars, online presentations, etc.)
• Administrative Assistance
• Phone Support
• Technical Support
• Volunteer Coordinator/Recruiter
• Community Outreach/Partnerships
• Leadership (indicate your interest in a leadership role by providing relevant experience)

MHRCET strives to deliver services and support necessary to improve the quality of life for children, youth, and adults with mental illness and addictive disorders.

Applicants must apply and live in the U.S., and have voice and video capabilities in order to conduct and follow-up with interviews.
