We are looking for volunteers to offer a supportive presence and socialization for our patients and families. You will make a difference by volunteering alongside our hospice staff in a variety of opportunities. In our Volunteer Orientation class, you will learn some of the challenges that our patients and families face you will also learn interventions on how your presence can bring quality of life and compassionate care to those in need. As an AccentCare hospice volunteer, you will learn about AccentCare philosophy of care, communicating with patients and families, family dynamics, spiritual care and the grief process.
