Job Summary

Volunteer: Volunteers have a heart for giving back. Social Media volunteers help with important research and social media, creating content and engaging our donors and the families affected by cancer that we serve.

Cancer Support Community Pasadena (CSCP) is an international non-profit organization providing professionally led support groups, educational workshops, and healthy lifestyle classes for people facing cancer and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Create content for our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter)
  • Engage social media platforms in creative ways
  • Post info about our programs, holiday observations, newsletters, blog posts and other announcements
  • Monitor comments and engage readers

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience creating social media content (Canva Pro account provided)
  • Strong familiarity w/ social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
  • Competence with Microsoft Office/Google Drive
