The Wabash Community is looking for volunteers for the After-School All-Star Program. This free program is a weekly program that provides homework help, educational activities and recreation activities for the communtiy kids. Volunteers will help facilitate activities with the Parks & Recreation staff.
Volunteers are asked to volunteer 1 day per week and can earn up to 2.5 hours per week. Weekly volunteer day can be flexible. You will be coordinating your availability with the Wabash Community Center Manager.
After School All-Stars
Starting: Jan 1 - May 31, 2023
Program times: 2:30 - 5 p.m.
Location: 1230 Southern Ave., Lakeland
The After-School program follows the Polk County Public School Calendar. Earn volunteer hours for graduation or scholarships. Volunteers can early up to 9 hours per month
Requirements:
- Must be 14 years old or older
- We do NOT accept court ordered volunteers

Polk County Parks & Recreation provides the community with safe, fun, and low-cost or free recreation and events throughout the year. We produce over 30 special events every year at various parks and venues, and operate a camp during the summer.
