Want to create a difference right in your own community? Get involved with us and share your time and talents towards nurturing Problem Solvers and Creators of tomorrow!
The volunteering program at Pi Jam Foundation aims to form an ecosystem of volunteers from diverse educational backgrounds. Volunteers would contribute to bridging the digital divide and fostering essential digital and computational skills among students from under-resourced groups for 3-6 months. The minimum engagement expected is 7-10 hours per week.
College-going individuals who find their passion in education, teaching, and technology would highly benefit from this opportunity as the volunteer program model at Pi Jam would be substantially different as the volunteers would be able to engage in the challenging yet empowering journey of learning about Computer Science and refine their talent for instruction in educationLearning Objectives:
Engage with activity-driven fieldwork in schools across the country.
Engage students in bridging the digital divide, especially across low-resource schools.
Collectively identify the problems in your community schools and collectively design solutions.
Be able to build leadership and instruction skills with a diverse team of self-organizing volunteers
