Help During an Emergency or Disaster


As we see can increase in extreme weather events like fires, ice, and heat, we are in need of people who are able to respond to the needs of the community.

Relevant volunteer skills:

Team-oriented
* Empathetic & compassionate
* Ability to be flexible
*Ability to maintain calm during stressful situations
* Willingness to pitch in where needed


Note: Volunteers will only be called upon in an emergency situation. All volunteers will have to pass a background check and participate in volunteer training.

Join the NWSDS Advisory Council Team in Tillamook!

Be the voice for seniors and people with disabilities in your community
Advocate for policies and legislation
Survey and monitor programs that serve the aging and disability communities
Inform NWSDS Board of Directors on Issues
Network with other like-minded leaders, local and state government officials
